Project Description
The former department store is set for £5 million international college revamp and the revival of a derelict department store into the new Kings College in Brighton. The conversion of the Buxton’s furniture store will see the new college with 60 rooms for live-in students, with bathroom pods supplied by Walker Modular. Kings College in Brighton will provide language courses, GCSE and A Level courses, and other pre-university preparation programmes for international students. The new four-storey replacement will see teaching and ancillary facilities at basement, ground and first floor, topped by 60 student flats.
