This St. Mungo’s Avenue student re-development for a 349 bed scheme including cluster flats and studios is ideally situated and just a stone’s throw away from Strathclyde University’s campus. The site was known as the old Martyrs Church however this is now cleared and will introduce the new 349 bed student scheme, comprising of 173 studios/ 176 clusters. The Martyrs Church which had previously occupied the site, was demolished in April 2015 in preparation for work to begin on the new student accommodation scheme. The site is on the corner is situated directly opposite Strathclyde’s campus and also in extremely close proximity to other important University buildings.Walker Modular will provide Bathroom Pods for this seven storey scheme which is due for delivery in August 2018, ahead of the 2018-19 academic year. The scheme will be developed to a high specification including excellent shared space and amenities including a cinema room, two common room areas, gym and roof terrace.
