This is one of the largest private rental sector deals which will create thousands of homes for people Manchester. This development introduces 995 rental homes in four blocks on the Chapel Wharf site in Salford, next to The Lowry Hotel. These four towers - between 12 and 22 storeys high It is part of a major redevelopment of the Chapel Wharf area which will see almost 1,000 new one, two and three-bedroom apartments built. Walker Modular will supply all Bathroom Pods for the development which is just one aspect of major plans for Chapel Street to bring new homes, hotels, shops, restaurants, and around 11,000 jobs. The idea for new apartments and commercial space will revitalise this site and play a major role in the on-going regeneration. Chapel Wharf will create not only landmark buildings for Greater Manchester, but also play a vital role in injecting sustainable development into the city’s derelict sites. The scheme is predominantly residential, with a mix of studios, one, two, three bedroom apartments and penthouses, with excellent prime commercial presence in the ground floor of the tower and other residential blocks.
