Project Description
The University of Birmingham plans to build a 172 bedroom hotel and new conference facility on Edgbaston Park Road. This development is to be known as Hornton Grange Hotel and Conference Centre, the new facility will encompass the current Conference Park and increase the overall provision to 220 beds. The Hornton Grange Hotel and Conference Centre and will be built near to the University’s existing conference facilities and will offer increased flexibility for conferences and other events, including weddings, with rooms able to be configured to hold anywhere between 20 and 200 delegates. Walker Modular will provide all Bathroom Pods for this hotel development in which guests can expect a country house hotel experience, offering first class, modern accommodation. Work on this new is underway with the first guests welcomed into the new facility from summer 2018.
