The redesign of Lime Street will introduce a new 101 bedroom hotel, retail units and student accommodation complex with 412 bedrooms which will sit between - and behind - The Vines and The Crown as part of the £39m project. The scheme, containing 412 student rooms, a 101-room hotel is a very exciting project for Walker Modular, in which they will provide all Bathroom Pods for both the student and the hotel development. Facing on to Lime Street, will be the hotel, while the student accommodation will be behind the hotel running parallel to Bolton Street and the hotel before breaking right to emerge above the Lime Street shops next to The Vines. The hotel and student accommodation will be split by an L-shaped pedestrian avenue and the open space offered by the balcony would separate the frontages of the hotel and student accommodation where the two face onto Lime Street. This development is about the regeneration of Liverpool on the whole and providing quality student accommodation as part of this huge investment.
