Project Description
Newman University is investing £22million over the next five years to develop its campus in Bartley Green, Birmingham. The programme is the next phase of an on-going campus development worth up £70m with the new halls of residence providing high quality accommodation to complement the outstanding learning and teaching spaces for students. This development will include a new, 1000 square metre, double-storey extension to provide excellent learning and teaching space, a 100-room hall of residence and the refurbishment of four existing buildings. Walker Modular will supply Bathroom Pods for this double-storey extension and new hall of residence which is expected to be completed by 2017. A second phase of work including additional halls of residence, a new teaching block and the refurbishment of other buildings will commence shortly after. Phase three of the programme will see the demolition of an existing building and the construction of another new teaching block at the front of the campus.
