Project Description
This development introduces plans to build a new ‘Steel City’ high quality student accommodation development in Sheffield in which Walker Modular will supply all Bathroom Pods. The £20m ‘Steel City’ scheme, on Hollis Croft adjacent to the University of Sheffield’s Engineering Faculty, will be developed by Southern Grove. The scheme introduces 246-beds which will also feature modern, high quality accommodation and networking facilities, including a roof top bar. Walker Modular are happy to be a part of this exciting development at Steel City which is seen to break away from the traditional concept of student halls of residence. Work is scheduled to start on site at Steel City in the spring, to deliver the completed building for the start of the 2019 academic year.
