Once the site of a run-of-the-mill car in the midst of Bristol, grounds between Dalby Avenue, Whitehouse Lane and Phillip Street are soon going to be an environmental haven as the highly anticipated Bedminster Green development gets off the ground. Within this not-so-secret garden of newly planted trees and fragrant wildflowers will be two new Student Accommodation buildings ranging three to nine storeys tall and offering homes for over 800 students. Up to an including the Malago River, improvements will be made. Both the roads and transport are been worked on to reduce carbon, and even the building themselves have been designed to include “living roofs”. Walker Modular’s Bathroom Pods will feature throughout this project, providing an individual private bathroom to every occupant in each of the 10 bed cluster flats.
