Originally granted Planning approval in 2017, the design for Nelson Street became grander in the 5 years it took to get the first spades in the ground. Now, new Planning includes not only the Student Accommodation Monolith, but also a wide variety of recreational facilities as well. Walker Modular will supply all the Bathroom Pods for the 12 storey development, which joins the ranks of popular Student Accommodation across the city of Belfast. A short distance away from Ulster University, the build includes a shared roof terrace as well as a games room, wellness room and numerous breakout areas. All in all, the finished product is set to benefit the physical and mental health of the residents who’ll stay here.
