Spanning approximately 1.5 million square foot, the West Bar Square development is the final result of years of dedicated work. Set to create 8,000 jobs and approximately 370 build-to-rent flats, the site is based next to both the bustling Sheffield City Centre and the industrial estate of Kelham Island. Walker Modular Bathroom Pods will feature throughout phase 1 of the development, which is the largest portion of the scheme, primarily providing the Bathrooms for apartments. Alongside the residential tower; both commercial units and office space have been given the go ahead to build, creating a prominent hub within the city. All in all, the design is modern, light and airy to look at, featuring large windows among the buildings and lush greenery in the landscaping. Even if it’s just the first phase of the development, it’s looking to add no end of benefits to Sheffield.
