Project Description
Originally an office block, the site of what was once known as Transport House is now set to become a variety of apartments. The 149 new residences will have Bathroom Pods supplied by Walker Modular, as well as additional green spaces and pedestrian walkways which pay homage to the industrial heritage Dagenham shares. Circa 50 percent of the development is to be affordable housing, and the whole build is focused heavily of sustainability. The mix of one, two and three bedroom flats will be heated by air source heat pumps, keeping the carbon footprint down. All in all, this development is a symbol of the potential to be found in old brownfield sites, and a triumph towards the creation of more affordable housing.
