Having pulled its last Pint back in 2017, The Unicorn Pub in Preston is now getting a new lease of life as part of a new short term rent accommodation block called Unicorn Halls. The Grade II listed pub building will front the establishment from North Road, and the accommodation building will then proceed to expand across what was once a carpark belonging to a hardware store behind. Walker Modular will be supplying the Bathroom Pods through the scheme, which consists of circa 121 short term let apartments covering 3 floors. All of the apartments are one bed studio flats, designed for short term homes for professionals. Furthermore, amenities include an internal courtyard and a roof terrace, alongside a significant amount of social areas, all designed with the intention of stimulating and encouraging fruitful work, no matter the chosen profession.
